Tayo holds a BA in Journalism and Public Communications with a Minor in Art from the University of Alaska, Anchorage. Her secondary education was heavily focused on the arts with emphasis in both Graphic Design and Photography. In 2006, after five years of working in Alaska as the business manager for a well know photographer; she moved back to her roots here in Central Vermont to be close to her family and friends.
Tayo joined ArtisTree/Purple Crayon in January of 2009 as Director and brings with her a passion for the arts, natural health and education. In 2014, with 5 years of growth at ArtisTree behind her, she transitioned into her current role as Director of Marketing & Communications and the organizations Community and Events Liaison.
In addition to her secondary education in the Arts, she also holds a certification in Plant Medicines and is a Certified Health Coach through the Institute for Integrative Nutrition in New York City. Tayo is excited to continue to support a healthy, creative environment for children, families and adults of all ages and abilities to enjoy the arts.
Tayo lives in Randolph Center, Vermont with her husband Chris, daughter McKenzie & husky Kaiyuh.
