Level 1 Tai Chi: Sun 73 Forms: Sun 73, the “youngest” of the well-known tai chi styles, contains a wonderful combination of both easy and challenging moves. With its upright posture, deep breathing and agile stepping it can improve your balance, coordination and mindfulness. We take a relaxed approach to learning this slow, gentle tai chi discipline. New and continuing students all make progress at their own pace. Together we have fun, encourage one another, and enjoy tai chi’s special energy.
Level 2 Tai Chi: Sun 73 and Yang 24 Forms: This relaxed, informal class is for those familiar with Sun 73 forms but desiring to deepen their practice. Class time will also be used to learn and refine Yang 24 forms. Yang 24 style is based on the traditional long form Yang style but reduces the number of repetitions. While there are some major differences between Sun and Yang styles, both contain the same tai chi principles and health benefits for body and mind.
