Drawing, painting, sculpting and other art media can be powerful promoters of mental health and wellbeing. Art-making sessions will begin with a simple and brief art-based warm-up activity, and then move to a group discussion on a chosen topic. The second portion of the class time will be devoted to working with the art materials. Participants will be invited to share their work and their thoughts at the end of each art-making session. This is not an art class, but an opportunity to play and experiment with an assortment of art materials. No artistic skills are required for this class – ALL levels of artistic ability are welcome!
