At ArtisTree, we’re happily gearing up for another fun summer of art-making. This summer's line-up will include tried and true favorites as well as new programs that are sure to excite children of all ages.
Perennial favorites, such as gymnastics camps, “Lego Mania,” drumming camps, and ceramics camps, will be offered throughout the summer. We continue our partnership with the Vermont Institute of Natural Science (VINS) in order to bring you the “Peeps” nature exploration camps for preschoolers. There will be many opportunities to learn from expert naturalists through our “Fun in the Forest” camp at the Marsh-Billings-Rockefeller National Historical Park and our on-site “Art Outdoors” camps.
Our youngest campers have quite a few choices for spending hot summer mornings. With names like “Creative Mess,” “Farm Frenzy,” “Creative Movement for Preschoolers,” and “Flip-Flop Acrobatics Camp,” your tot is sure to enjoy their time at ArtisTree.
This summer we’ll offer many new opportunities to delve into the arts, too. Our summer lineup includes a colorful polymer clay camp, drawing camps, photography and video camps, and creative camps with “magical” beads and stones, mask-making and much, much more.
Our largest new endeavor this season is a two-week theater camp that culminates in a production of Disney’s The Little Mermaid, Jr. This musical will be the first show performed in our new Teago Grange Theater. A crew of professional theater artists will engage young actors in singing, dancing, acting, costume-making and more. All kids ages 7 to 17 are invited to join in the fun and experience the wonderful world of theater.
